What is BCDC

BCDC is India's premier hackathon and one of the largest hackathons in the nation. We bring together over 1,000 students to build the future of mobility with cycle as the focus.

What are you going to build?

BCDC is an incredible opportunity to build for the future mobility. Our goal at BCDC is to empower designers/engineers to build the best in class cargo bicycles. We want to see not just the design but cycles serving the real people. We will have unparalleled resources such as world class mentors, onsite hardware, developer workshops, and cutting-edge industry tools provided free by our sponsors. Below are the themes for BCDC

Theme 1 - Commute Cycle

Design a lightweight, sturdy commute cycle for the Indian commuter that prioritizes efficiency, durability, and affordability while incorporating modern design and engineering principles.

Theme 2 - Multi Utility Cargo Cycle

Design a logistics cycle that is efficient, durable, and capable of carrying heavy loads, and that can be used by India Post and other delivery people to transport mail, parcels, and other goods across diverse terrains and in varying weather conditions.
